Our History The birth of Afrizan was inspired by the need for an empowered generalist consultancy. Elvira Riccardi, founder and MD, was employed by FCA Financial Services for 8 years and has many years of experience as a financial consultant.

She was specifically involved in the restructuring and streamlining of accounting departments of many diverse clients. Her exposure to both crisis and project management has given her a good basis on which to develop and grow this business.

Why Afrizan? Afrizan is an empowerment entity. Together with our outsourcing and training program (see profile), Afrizan is doing its utmost to promote the careers of many PDI candidates. Our Mentorship Program We are not only in the business of placing candidates. We have introduced a training and mentorship program whereby previously disadvantaged individuals are employed by us and trained at our expense, thereby empowering them with both the skills and work experience they so often lack. Once these candidates are trained, we find them suitable permanent employment. We believe strongly in old adage, giving a man a fish feeds him for a day, teaching him to fish feeds him for life.
